My featured photo: it's been a long 3 and a half years of rehab, sitting on the sidelines watching others succeed while I dreamt of the day I would play again! Well... my time is now. The only thing is, I still have some tendinitis issues (comes with the territory of having 2 knee surgeries and rushing the rehab stage too fast. It bothers from time to time but I've been bucking down to what I need to start working on. My main focus for the next few weeks before the next game will be hamstrings, gluts, and my IT band. Always be a better version of yourself even when life throws a hurdle in your way. Knowing the girl I was this time last year ๐Ÿ‘‰makes me more determined than ever right now to continue being mentally and physically healthy something I worked so hard to achieve this year. Iโ€™m excited to start planing some ideas for pursuing my fitness career and also getting back to full fitness on a personal level. Some things I work on in the gym....My pace is that of a snail but as I went on I felt more and more confident. I want to practice jumping/landing from all angles as I prep for bouldering! I also have also been super off balance with these sorts of movements. Ask me to jump rocks on a trail and youโ€™re in for a laugh. ๐Ÿ˜‚ but I think my body is learning fast!

#fbf to beautiful Leavenworth. This was a month before I fell weird again and I learned my acl was either gone or pretty torn from the previous year. I am starting to "boulder" again. V0s and v1s, at my local gym mostly as I begin to increase the distance I fall over the next few months and begin to trust my body again. As somehow who found climbing at 29 and never really did sports as a kid I find it so challenging catching up on all the agility, body awareness and reflexes I need to have to try hard. But I've learned a ton about myself this last year, I'm stronger in my legs then I've ever been, and I'm still trying. Not much yet. But it's there.
