It's that time again: Phrase Friday!
Well it's officially Autumn 🍂 🍃 🍂, and my good old friends Paramore were singing about change during on of my workouts. So I'll dig in to what they say:
In the lyrics they talk about about losing someone or something. How in the morning/mourning things have to change--the acknowledgment of the tough realty. I think so many of us are simply waiting against the insurmountable odds for something extraordinary to happen and change us. And that when the real moments where we can change are missed because we don't want to face the double edged sword. So go out and become something, or unbecome something. Do it mindful that behind everything exquisite thing there was something tragic. Change is inevitable, but transformation is a conscience decision. *********************** "You escaped like a runaway train
Off the tracks and down again
My heart's beating like a steam boat tugging
All your burdens on my shoulders
Now there's nothing but time that's wasted
And words that have no backbone
And now it seems like the whole world's waiting
Can you hear the echoes fading?
And it takes all my strength not to dig you up
From the ground in which you lay
The biggest part of me
You were the greatest thing
And now you're just a memory
To let go of.
In the mourning I'll rise
In the mourning I'll let you die
In the mourning all my sorries"
