This time we took this one outside and grilled it...
I had some leftover homemade dough and since we love veggie pizza, I added toppings like sweet peppers, mushrooms, onion, pinch of chili flakes and extra cheese (+pizza sauce). It was so good! I sautéed peppers, onion and mushrooms with a bit of olive oil and added a generous pinch of sea salt before adding it on my pizza crust.
Of course, I served it with some mixed greens as well. Perfect mid week dinner.
My grilled pizza (like one that I made before) is totally inspired by my friends Ryan and Adam, @husbandsthatcook check them out and get inspired <— actually, they made their pizza in a grill pan on the stove. Awesome idea, right?! I’ve tried it before and was ahhmazing, but since it is such a nice day, I made it on my grill outside.
So, you’d grill both sides of the dough before adding sauce and toppings.. and, you can add whatever you prefer. Also, you can use store bought pizza dough or make your own... it’s all good, my friends!😉
