#Ultraviot photography at @harvardartmuseums can reveal previous retouching or damage that is invisible to the naked eye, which helps inform research as well as future treatment and care. Here, our conservators Laura Panadero and Christina Taylor capture UV light images of Joseph Albers’ photo of architect Mies van der Rohe. The squares next to the photo are color and shade standards, which help gauge consistency from photo to photo. #ArtMeetsScience #UVLight #Ultraviolet #JosephAlbers #MiesvanderRohe #Bauhaus
