Hermann Park in the Museum District is so much more than trees and trails. The McGovern Centennial Gardens are an impressive conservancy effort that brings life deliberately and unapologetically into the heart of a concrete expanse. It's no wonder that these gardens are always full of visitors - city-dwellers who are grateful for the not-so-subtle reminder that we should be embracing the nature that surrounds us, however tempting our air-conditioned indoors may be. A popular spot for photogs, bloggers, and couples in love, the gardens are a great place to enjoy beauty in all of its facets and iterations. Oh, and the Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion? It was designed by the same guy who designed the Apple retail stores. No big deal. Stop by for a stroll and let us know which garden is your favorite! If you ask us, the Rose Garden is especially whimsical.
