How to build a thick back top to bottom. Step 1 stop being a pussy. Step 2 wake your ass up because shits about to get serious. Step 3 put as much weight as you think you can lift on a barbell. Step 4 pull that shit off the floor as many times as you can before you pass the fuck out. Step 5 repeat 1-2 times per week for years and years and years. 😈 On a more serious note, that's pretty much what it takes. Last year I didn't even want to take a single pic of my back because it was so weak. I made a promise to myself that by the next competitive season my back wasn't going to be a weak point. So I barbell rowed and rack pulled as much weight as possible, progressing my lifts over weeks and months. I'm now rack pulling 5-6 plates for 10+ reps and barbell rowing 3-4 plates for 6-10+ reps and the strength progression of those lifts, in my opinion, directly correlate to the progression in muscle mass accumulated on my back side. Man up and pull till you puke..... or just be a bitch. You choose :) - Side note *** Everyone and every BODY is different, some can get away without heavy pulls and still develop an insane back ! There is no one size fits all with any aspect of fitness and bodybuilding but if your back is lacking and you haven't been implementing this type of training I would say it's time to change it up.
