Soaking up the last few home lifts before the travel picks up again. Have a number of trips now through June that I couldn’t be more excited for. ✈️
A potential client asked me today “Do I believe in tracking forever?”
At first the answer seemed obvious. Then I started to think about it.
I utilize tracking my macros so that I have control over my body composition. With time and consistency, I’ve reached a point where I understand what amount of various macronutrients I need and what amount is excessive. .
If I want to sit slightly leaner, I understand what I need to do with my diet and nutrition. If I want my lifts to go up and to have better energy in the gym, I know how many fats carbs and protein I’ll need to do so. .
I used to feel like the only way to change my body was to go to extreme methods like no carbs or no fats. I hated feeling like the only way to get results was to starve myself. .
Many of you reading this can probably relate to this mindset which is why I want to make this very clear: you can eat more than you’re currently eating and lose body fat. You don’t have to restrict yourself to lose 5lbs. You don’t have to give up the foods you love. Losing the weight is honestly a lot easier than you probably imagine. It just requires time and consistency. Work smarter. Embrace the suck. .
