Here's the deal, if you're lifting very heavy weights, this is the best way to get as strong as possible. Make sure to rest 3-5 minutes between sets. One thing you should know though is that it will build muscle (especially in the 4-6 rep range).

For hypertrophy (muscle gain), use the 6-12 rep range. 6-8 reps for functional hypertrophy (strength and mass), and then 8-12 reps for pure hypertrophy (muscle size). Rest 3 minutes between compound movements and 2 minutes between isolation movements (shave off 1 min from those if you're supersetting).

If your goal is muscle gain, I think you should spend 80% of your time in the 6-12 rep range, and then use the 4-6 rep range to build strength so that you can lift MORE weight in the 6-12 rep range.

HOW TO GET BIG NOW

There's ONE THING you need to do that will guarantee muscle growth, and it's getting stronger in the 6-10 rep range.

For example, if you want to build your chest, and your max bench press is 135lbs for 6 reps, then your number 1 goal should be to add 100lbs to your bench press. Doing so will build a bigger chest. I promise.

The same goals for any other body part. Have skinny legs? Add 100lbs to your Bulgarian Split Squat. Does your back suck? Add 100lbs to your chinup. Crappy shoulders? Add 100lbs to your overhead press. I think you can see my point.

Take your time and the strength will come. For example, if you can currently bench 135lbs for 3 sets of 6 reps, then your next workout needs to be 135lbs for 7,6,6. The workout after that needs to be 135lbs for 7,7,6. Keep going until you can do 135lbs for 3 sets of 10 reps, then add weight and keep going.

Chase that strength. Weak guys don't have big muscles. Just look at Joffrey Lannister for an example of that.

REP RANGES FOR MUSCLE

High reps and low weights, or low reps and high weights? You may be wondering the answer. It's simpler than you think.

Use all rep ranges and go as heavy as you can without sacrificing form. For straight up muscle building, spend your time in the Hypertrophy range. This will build you a solid balance of Fast Twitch and Slow Twitch muscle.

BUT, you also need to train in other rep ranges to grow. You can just expect to train 8-12 reps the rest of your life and make progress. Many of the old school bodybuilders built their bodies in the Functional Hypertrophy range. It allowed them to build strength and mass at the same time. This builds strong, dense muscle.

On top of this, you'll need some Endurance Hypertrophy. This means using reps higher than 12 (12-20 reps). This also includes drop sets.

Lastly, be patient and give it time. King's Landing wasn't built in a day and neither will your body. Keep your eyes peeled tomorrow morning as I'll break down the rep ranges even FURTHER so you know how much time you need to dedicate towards each rep range.

If you want to build muscle, your goal should be to get strong in each "big lift". This means having a strength standard. If you reach this strength standard in this lift, it means you will be bigger. Try to find me a guy who can squat 405lbs, pullup 125lbs, bench 315lbs, and deadlift 495lbs who isn't jacked.

I want your muscle building journey to be simple. The best way to do that is to focus on one thing: get stronger and work towards these strength standards. Don't let anyone get in your way...not even a Lannister.

Each strength standard is based on a 180lb man with 12% body fat. Being strong and fat isn't that impressive. You want to be strong and lean! This is what will allow you to be jacked.

Estiramientos assistidos , resistidos y relajacion del hombro.

Una buena forma de prevenir lesiones mañana cuando vuelva a entrenar ya que no tendrá tanta rigidez muscular y movimientos más amplios de brazos.
