Quick glute talk because it seems like I get A LOT of questions on what I do for my glutes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍑Now before moving forward, just note that my training ISN’T focused around building glutes, but building a great OVERALL physique.
🍑Through my 12 years of my life, I always focused on compound lifts, and through the years, I got stronger, and with strength, came muscle gain or glute gains since we are focusing on that right now.
🍑My glutes DID NOT come from hours and hours of band work. It came from heavy iron, and that’s it. The only time I will use bands is to add MORE resistance to COMPLEMENT the iron, NOT replace the iron , or for mobility work, that’s it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍑Nowadays, I find that too many people get caught up in this bs of bands, and skip out on the iron because it’s “hard.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍑I’m not bashing people who use bands, so don’t get it fck’ed up. I’m simply telling you what I DO and what WORKED for my glutes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍑You want to build glutes? Focus on the work load of iron, focus on the contraction and squeeze rather than running through the motion, and realize it takes time, consistency, and FOOD ( not always being in a calorie deficit). Remember my favorite word (other than gainz) : specificity.
