--BAR BODYWEIGHT DIPS--

Ignore the fact that my face looks like I need to take a massive SH*T😂 and before anyone says there's another variation, I am FULLY aware of that, the top picture technically isn't wrong it just shifts more of the emphasis to the pectoralis major.
.
👉PROPER POSITION.
.
Start with the palms facing in and the elbows in extension (pointing directly back), position the body directly between the bars so that the arms are holding the body erect.
.
Once the arms are in full support of the body, step off of the support bars. (OPTIONAL) If needed, flex the knees 90° to bring the lower legs to a position that is parallel to the floor.
.
Keep your head in a natural position.
.
👉PROPER FORM.
.
1️⃣Slowly lower the body in a controlled manner through elbow flexion.
.
2️⃣Continue to lower the body to the point where your upper arms are at approximately a 90° angle with your forearms and parallel with the dip bars.
.
3️⃣Contract the triceps initiating elbow extension while keeping the elbows pointed directly back and tucked into the sides of the body.

👉ESSENTIAL TIPS TO AVOID COMMON MISTAKES.

✅Keep the elbows pointed back and tucked into the sides of the body.

✅Keep the wrists in a flexed position.

✅Lean forward (switch emphasis to pectoralis major).

Many of you have asked what a vertical leg press is , well here you go.
This has been one of the best quad workouts I've had . Felt the connection the entire time .
These are 5-3-5-3-5 : 5. Full reps, 3 slow reps and so forth . I give credit to @jmancannon for this workout .

ABS AND GLUTES

Just another creative way to use these bands but first....

Super basic abs on the ball. Get that FULL RANGE OF MOTION
All the way back...

Not heavy weight on exercise 2. Just keep this legs tight when coming in and up and then extend out STRAIGHT and LOW and keep those legs together. *

Then the last. Ouch...
Isometric superman... with band open. You definitely don't need a heavy tube for this. *
Now go eat a healthy balanced meal with some carbs and lean protein to keep that blood sugar stable. Keep mood and energy consistent throughout the day.
No crash. *

✅ FRONT SQUATS ❌

💥 the first step to a good front squat is a neutral and balanced spine. As you see in the bad picture ❌ I have a slight arch forward, causing me to come down at an angle. This puts the load of the bar anterior causing an imbalance. Not only will this make it difficult to keep the bar in place but it puts the downward force of the bar on the wrong part of the body causing you to fire all of your erector muscles to keep you balanced. .
. 💥 Next is elbow position. Dropping your elbows down will also cause you to have a difficult time keeping the weight and bar in the correct position. You almost want to form a crevice by keeping your elbows up. This will allow the bar to sit across your anterior delts above your clavicle and almost touching your neck. If the bar is in this location the downward force of the bar is in the perfect position and should make it much easier for you to perform the lift 👌. Don't get discouraged with this, it will feel awkward at first but you will get the feeling! .

💥 There is another way to hold the bar for a front squat but I'm unable to do it being I'm not flexible enough lol. So, if you know that form it works great too 👍

. 💥 Last but not least is your FEET. Stretch your calves. The most common cause of your heels coming off of the ground while doing any squat is 1) tight calves and 2) the weight and downward force being too far forward causing you to have all of your weight on your toes ❌. You should always be pushing off of your heels while performing any squat! (Not just front squats) .
