YOU. GUYS. Yes. That's a squirrel. Yes. He's in our kitchen. Yes, we got him out. Yes, it was terrifyingly hysterical.
So here's what went down. Tonight Serena walked in and caught this guy chilling on our dining room table. He spotted her and bolted around the house until he found his way to the fireplace and climbed up the chimney to hide- which he must've been familiar with from entering the same way (swipe to see his tiny, sooty paw prints we found as evidence of this rodent home invasion entry!). One thing led to another and Ray the wildlife catcher of @intrepid_wildlife came to catch some wildlife at our place. Humane catch, humane release- obviously! That's the short story where we leave out the details about the poop and pee he left everywhere for us and Serena's sad, near-crying, freak out moments thinking said pee ruined our beautiful wood dining chair... #murphyoilsoap to the rescue! Also... totally time to learn how to correctly close the chimney damper. Yowza.
Brb, we're off to sanitize everyyyything! @mrsmeyerscleanday, can you help us out here!? 😍
