T H E. C R O W. >><< this is Yoga pose that my children learnt at a recent Pure Kids Workshop @purehealthclubs.
The workshops involve movement, meditation and understanding the in's and Out's of nutrition. Basically how the body works, and how respecting it and trusting in it, you can conquer so very much.
Kakasana (Sanskrit: काकासन, Crow Pose) is an asana. In all variations, Crane/Crow is an arm balancing asana in which hands are planted on the floor, shins rest upon upper arms, and feet lift up. This is the basic level of the Crow Pose. The next is to invert onto your head. It's amazing how being able to master this move, my son now wants to learn more. He already has his own yoga mat from his beautiful Yoga Earthling Cousin @mandijnelson .. I love how my babies want to and enjoy learning about their bodies and embracing their abilities through taking a leap of faith and trust in themselves.
Yoga is a such a beautiful movement and meditation for anyBODY. It's for any age and ability - the young and the old.
