Long post alert!
This is yesterday’s food: breakfast pizza (amazing), Go go green smoothie and we ate out at Wahaca. I’m absolutely loving the plan and have changed my profile to focus on it as well as my general health and well-being, including all the fun stuff I get up to with my little bubba. Because being a mum is fucking tough. It’s the hardest yet most amazing thing and there are different challenges all the time. The plan is what I’m doing for me, at a time when I think that’s so important. Mum’s get left behind when the focus is shifted completely into the baby and once the initial business of visitors has died down; its easy to forget that this mum has never done this before and although she wouldn’t change it for the world, she’d love someone to come in and say ‘I’ll look after the baby, you go and have a bath, read a book, whatever it is you need to do to recharge’. I’m finding that time really hard to get - but I’m trying to squeeze some in here and there even if I feel like I have to pester my husband for it more than I should.
