Why I reckon believing you need to get out of your
comfort zone does more harm than good.

Do you know what happens when someone truly goes outside
of their comfort zone?
.
They freak the f*ck out.
.
You don't learn to drive by jumping into a Formula 1
car.
.
Or learn to run by doing a marathon.
.
There are stages you have to go through from being a
novice...that is unless you have a penchant for extreme
pain and probable death.
.
What we actually do is stretch the edges of our comfort
zone.
.
Expand it and make it grow.
.
Whatever job you do today you probably couldn't have
done it 5 years ago.
.
You've gradually built skills, systems and probably a
level of resilience.
.
Getting strength and fitness results is no different.
.
Too many people are living a life in which they feel
unhappy with with the condition of their health and
physique.
.
But they stay there as it seems so daunting to get
moving.
.
But when you realise you're just expanding your comfort
zone it can feel easier.
.
It's about finding the right "next step" for you. The
one that takes you in the right direction but doesn't
freak you out.
.
Rather than believing you have to take a Quantum Leap.

🔸Me voilà un peu plus posée pour vous donnez des nouvelles du trajet 🚗. Nous sommes bien arrivés. Le trajet a été long pour pas changé mais cette fois ci, je l'ai bien senti. Je ne savais pas comment me placer sur mon siège pour être " bien " depuis ma chute dans les escaliers a 14sa, j'ai le coccyx plus sensible. Les coups de la petite me gênait par moment... J'ai beaucoup bougée. Heureusement, j'avais pris mon coussin d'allaitement ce qui m'a aidé par moment pour reposé mon dos.
🔸 Maintenant place au rangement des valises, ménage pour retirer les toiles d'araignée,...

Long post alert!
This is yesterday’s food: breakfast pizza (amazing), Go go green smoothie and we ate out at Wahaca. I’m absolutely loving the plan and have changed my profile to focus on it as well as my general health and well-being, including all the fun stuff I get up to with my little bubba. Because being a mum is fucking tough. It’s the hardest yet most amazing thing and there are different challenges all the time. The plan is what I’m doing for me, at a time when I think that’s so important. Mum’s get left behind when the focus is shifted completely into the baby and once the initial business of visitors has died down; its easy to forget that this mum has never done this before and although she wouldn’t change it for the world, she’d love someone to come in and say ‘I’ll look after the baby, you go and have a bath, read a book, whatever it is you need to do to recharge’. I’m finding that time really hard to get - but I’m trying to squeeze some in here and there even if I feel like I have to pester my husband for it more than I should.
