And here we are with the final episode recap of American Gods season 1!
If you want to avoid spoilers you may wanna skip this one 😅
So, here we are at the end of season one and I can now say there was not a single moment that bored me or that lost my interest or that disappointed me. It was all fucking amazing, from start to finish and I already can't wait to see season 2!
Now about the last episode... a lot of secrets were uncovered, a lot of truths were revealed, but none of it came as a surprise if you've read the books, but that didn't make it any less spectacular! Seeing Easters powers in their most destructive form was impressive and fascinating as well as it was scary. The animations for Mr. World are glorious and to me the actor @crispinhellionglover just fits this role perfectly, powerful and dangerous. Also seeing Mr. Nancy again and the fact that he told Bilquis' origin story was a very nice touch on the whole thing. All the Jesuses were hilarious, especially the one who dropped his glass in the pool. Shadow finally understands what's going on (at least kind of) and he looks majestic while he's at it. And of course I could watch the adventures of Dead Wife and Ginger Minge forever, they are delightful in a very strange way.
I think I've rambled on enough for now, all there is left to say is that I'm very very happy that this show has been made and it's been conducted beautifully. All the love and respect for @bryanfullergram for his amazing work on the show and of course @neilhimself for the masterpiece he has written and all the actors and everyone who worked on the show for making it as incredible and enjoyable as it is. ❤
