One tip I can give is, always use 3 or more tones of every color you use. The more color you use, the more believable and alive your work will be! Daniel carves realistic life-size birds and competes throughout the US. He works in all mediums, wood, acrylic paint, pencil, pen you name it. He has been drawing since he was 5 years old. He has won numerous awards including a world championship in Interpretive wood sculpture.
