The 100th post! Thank you for all your support! Without you we wouldn't achieve this!
Now then, a fun fact to celebrate it:
Thomas must be wondering the reason why a lot of Chinese fans love to send different kinds of carrot toys to him, which is… a little bit strange and complicated. Here's some of the explanation:
1. The surname Hohler sounds like the first two syllables of "carrot" in Chinese, while the first syllable of "Thomas" in German sound like "rabbit" in Chinese. Rabbit and carrot, perfect match.
2. The video above.
3. In a Q&A, Mr. Hohler revealed to the fans that he loved eating carrot.
4. Mr. Hohler sold/buy/hold a basket of carrots in both Mozart! and Kein Pardon.
For the reasons above, some of Thomas's fans in China started to call themselves "carrot" and love to gift him carrot-shape toys. It might be a strange way, but surely it expresses their love and admiration.
Your performance will be remembered by our heart, Thomas. And we especially thank you for this 100th post!
