#61DaysOfHorror - Audition (1999)
.
.
Audition is one of those horror films that doesn't really hit you until the last minute but when it does, it hits you like a ton of bricks.
.
.
The film is about a recent widower, whose son suggests that he find a new wife. With the help of a friend, he stages a phony audition to meet a potential new partner in life & after interviewing several women, he becomes interested in one in particular. As they begin to date, her dark past begins to affect their relationship.
.
.
Audition is a slow burn but director Takashi Miike keeps things interesting by always suggesting something isn't quite right. The big selling point is the ending torture scene which is indeed brutal but Audition is a solid exercise in grisly shocks as well as psychological drama. Are you a fan of Audition? Sound off! In the meantime, here are some fun facts about the film:

Our review of "Tea With The Dames" can be read on NextBestPicture.com (Link in Bio)

The only good thing to watch in the movie was the actual predator, other than that the movie was pretty boring. The Predator was really long and I got tired of seeing the kills and the same action over and over again. The dialogue was super simple with some pretty stupid jokes that didn’t really land well. There are just so many flaws with this film and I really tried to like it but it just wasn’t my cup of tea. I definitely do not recommend you pay full price for this film, watch it at home if you really want to see it. I give The Predator a D. #predator #predatormovie #photography #cinematography #photographer #action #scary #september #datenight #greatmovie #movieaddict #filmreviews #movielover #moviereviews #moviereview #movies #amc #cinepolis #photooftheday #hollywood #actor #actress #me #usa #mexico #followers #photos #film #celebrity #celebrities
