What to say🤷‍♀️...running is not my cup of tea but I keep trying at least during our holidays. It is simple, you do not need any special equipment, just your running shoes (not necessarily☺️). When my older son is now able to join me, it is more fun. We tried little and then end up with some jumping and playing. Not every training needs to be hard, it is important to keep moving and show them that movement in general meaning is a part of daily life.

Cuando vemos las estadísticas de lesiones en deportes como el boxeo vemos que son muy pocas a nivel de los miembros inferiores. Pero cada vez veo problemas de pinzamiento de cadera y dolores de rodillas generada por un movimiento asíncrono entre la rotación de cadera y rodilla creando una pérdida en la estabilidad de la rodilla con dolor en la misma. At a glance, the deadlift and squat can look very similar biomechanically, sometimes people make them the same lift, but they are different.
🔸The difference you may ask is that there is more knee flexion in the squat and less in the deadlift.
🔸Whereas in the hips, the hips go BEHIND you in the DL and BELOW you in the squat
🔸There are more, but we'll stick with that for now 😜

To follow up on my last post, here’s Sergio Garcia, one of the worlds best ball strikers moving through impact. Notice his back isn’t flat. His core is stable and his spine is protected, but it certainly isn’t flat. Having proper thoracic mobility along with core stability allows Sergio to safely get into this position and power the ball around the course. .

Do you have a morning ritual?? What’s the first thing you do when you get up in the morning? Besides going to the bathroom!
What’s the first thought you have?
Do you grab straight for your phone and check your emails? FB, Instagram, Twitter, whatever!
Having a morning ritual can have a massive positive impact on your day, your week, your year and your life!
Do you dread your day? Or do you get excited about it? This can all depend on your first thought.
YOU CHOOSE if you wake up with a good attitude or a shit attitude.

Drinking at least one big glass of water will have have a massive impact on your energy levels, physically and mentally!
Rehydrating the body and the brain is so important for it to operate optimally!
Breath work....even if it’s stopping for a couple of seconds to take three deep breaths will help you calm your mind and focus!
Some gentle movement....even just five minutes of mobility helping to get the joints and muscles moving and warmed up will help with how your body feels in the long run!
What’s my morning ritual?
All of the above...sometimes modified depending on my day!! I always do the breathing and the water no matter what!
I wake up....think of one positive thing...like...”Today is going to be an awesome fucking day!”
I drink two big glasses of water!
Walk my dogs....they will actually hold it against me if I don’t!! 😂
I do some gentle movement....then I train...Weights/ yoga/HIIT...all of the above!
Then I breathe...between five and twenty minutes of box breathing which has a shit tonne of benefits for your body and mind!
1. Helps with focus and concentration
2. Helps with memory
3. Reduces anxiety
4. Helps with road rage😁
5. Slows your breathing down!
Heaps more benefits too!
When someone says they don’t have time for a morning ritual, I call Bullshit!
Too busy is a statement that gets thrown around, it’s a cop out!
If you don’t have time to get up and at least drink two glasses of water you need to recheck some shit!
Don’t check fb or emails....there’s five maybe even 20 minutes for you to complete a pretty kick arse morning ritual that will leave you with more time!!! Who would of thunk it🧐
