“Curiosity killed the cat.” Or did it? Maybe it actually died of boredom. Who knows. The truth is, the adage gets it all wrong. Without curiosity, we can’t problem solve, think creatively, ideate, empathize with others, ask questions, learn. We essentially miss out on living a meaningful life. Sounds awful right? 🐱
....................................................................... So on this lovely Thursday, we want to inspire you to think beyond what you know and what you do everyday on autopilot. And instead, we want you to focus on what you are most curious about, today.
Ask yourself: ▪️What’s one topic or activity I’m curious about today?
▪️What is one thing I usually take for granted that I’d like to learn more about?
Now take the time (even if just a few min) to jot down your thoughts and learn. Who knows, your curiosity might just help you break through a writer’s block, solve a problem or be “more productive.” 😉 #endrant

1 Band, 3 Exercises

The possibilities are endless when it comes to resistance bands! Here we use the same band to give you three effective exercises targeting your glutes and surrounding hip muscles. Resistance bands give you the freedom to increase or decrease tension based on your strength levels. We use a band that’s about 4ft long, if it’s too long for some exercises try doubling it up for added resistance.

The isolated movements will help wake up primary muscle groups and get them ready for more compound movements, such as squats and deadlifts. So try these exercises as a warm up for your next leg day! We recommend 3 sets of 10 reps with little rest in between to get the heart rate elevated and blood flowing. 🔹🔹🔹
Breuger's Side Step
1️⃣ Step on band with feet shoulder width apart
2️⃣ Cross band in front of ankles then behind knees
3️⃣ Wrap band in front of thighs keeping hands on hips
4️⃣ Step side to side with knees slightly bent

Theraband Bridge
1️⃣ Loop band around middle of thighs
2️⃣ Push through heels to bring your hips to the ceiling
3️⃣ Keep the knees hip distance apart and do not arch the low back

Quadruped Glute Extension
1️⃣ Loop band around opposite knee and arch of the foot
2️⃣ Lift thigh towards the ceiling keeping knee bent
3️⃣ Keep belly tight and drawn inward
