A glorious congratulations to @eat_sleep_moto_beer, winner of October's Motorcycle Photo Contest! 🏆 They scored The Winner Bundle, $35+ worth of goodness in the form of MMU patches, stickers, and a tire gauge.
Thank you to all those who entered #October_MMU! 🍁 It was tricky to choose a winner with all of those amazing photos.
Want to know what made @eat_sleep_moto_beer win? Their photo is gorgeous, well composed, doesn't use heavy filters or watermarks, and give you that good old adventure itch! 👌
More to come, but next month I'm shaking things up! My November contest will run for just one week. 🗓️ Stay tuned for more! 🔬
Patterns. There is in all things a pattern that is part of our universe. It has symmetry, elegance, and grace - these qualities you find always in what a true artist captures. You can find it in the turning of the seasons, the way sand trails along a ridge, in the branch clusters, the creosote bush of the pattern of its leaves. We try to copy these patterns in our lives and in our society, seeking the rhythms, the dances, the forms that comfort. Yet, it is possible to see peril in the finding of ultimate perfection. It is clear that the ultimate pattern contains its own fixity. In such perfection, all things move towards death.
The past few weeks have been crazy and I've had to put off a lot of things I promised to people. This week I'll be playing catch up on all my freelance stuff. To signal return to normal, here are photos I shot of of Lewis at 3 Palms, which is pretty much half of what I post.
