Ready to get fit.... you're gonna go all in!
Ok so Monday has come and gone so hopefully you've had all the #motivationalmonday quotes out the way. "No next time, no timeouts"
"Go hard or go home"
"Be a lion, be a wolf" or what ever other bloody animal is trying to get fit 😄
Now the funny thing we like to do when we take on a project is go all in.
To some extent this is a good idea, but it has to be logical and it has to be to a limit. ➡️Doing a 7 day extreme workout week and then feeling like crap the following week is pointless
You'll probably end up moving less in that second week and not burning as many calories as you normally would anyway. ➡️Dropping down to 500kcals to diet is ridiculous from the start but then the following week, you'll be short on energy and end up eating anything and everything in the cake isles.
Methods of extreme doesn't always work, in fact rarely does it, but we are so inspired by crappy quotes all logic leaves us and we take on this all or nothing mentality.
Every single person I have ever worked with have got results by 🔵 Moving more, regularly
🔵Eating just a little bit less than before, regularly
🔵Actually enjoying what they are doing, regularly
Yes it requires to work hard and potentially push to your limits, but it has to be with a point.
Doing small changes that you can actually stick to, will always trump big changes that you can't sustain. 👍
