I like to pack my smoothies with many nutrients. Spinach is my favorite green leafy vegetable I like to use for my smoothies. It provides many water and fat soluble vitamins and minerals like magnesium and iron (minerals), B2&B6 vitamins.
I have been an iorn deficiency anemic for several years. If your anemic or know someone who is you may know that we tend have cold hands ,feet and fatigue quickly. The cause of those symptoms are due to the lack of oxygen in the red blood cells. I have noticed improved energy levels since eating spinach on a daily basis. Y'all seriously I LOAAADD my smoothie with handfuls of spinach to get as iron as I can (because I really need it). ·

Today's smoothie includes my favorite Vega Protien Powder alongside 3 handfuls of baby spinach, 2 fresh organic peaches (skin on), 1 banana, 1 cup strawberries , 2 cups of coconut water and 2 tbs of flaxseed oil with vitamin D. ·

I almost always cook enough food to feed us dinner as well as have leftovers for lunch. Today I did half of the pork chops in lemon pepper and half in rib seasoning. Then I did a cauliflower mash (turned an ugly shade of brown because I almost burned it but still tasted great) and roasted cauliflower which I only sprayed with avocado oil and seasoned with italian seasoning. If you're already going to do dishes and spend time in front of the stove, double up your recipes so you can have healthier lunch options.

I feel my best after a good sweat session. Transformations happen one day at a time. So the weekend had some hiccups. So what? That's not an excuse to quit.
