Reading a book about happiness just brings a smile to my face and I can’t help but be happy thinking about all of the positive vibes!! This morning’s workout kicked my behind or should I say legs (which were hurting before I even started!), so maybe I’m smiling because it was over, but nonetheless, it’s Friday and there’s so much to be happy about!! •
Speaking of happiness, what is your definition of happiness? No really, comment below with your definition of happiness. There really is no single meaning, it’s really up to each individual person and how they experience it. In the book I’m reading, The Happiness Advantage, Shawn Achor defines happiness as “the joy we feel striving after our potential.” How amazing is that?! I love that definition and it really resonates with me!! When I am pushing myself and experiencing growth, I do feel happy! It brings me joy to push the boundaries and become stronger in my fitness, to learn more and more each and every day and then to be able to share what I'm doing and learning with others fires me up!! So, what is your definition of happiness?!
