November 15, 1966, Point Pleasant, West Virginia. During the night, two young couples Roger and Linda Scarberry, and Steve and Mary Mallette were in a car driving at a area outside of town known as the TNT area, a site area of a former World War II munitions plant. When the car headlights picked up two red lights, Linda gasped seeing something out there. They stop and looked, wondering what's out there. The two red lights were eyes of a man-like figure standing about 6 and a half feet tall or 7 feet tall with 10 foot long wings folded against it's back. It was walking sturdy, then turned slowly and shuffled towards the door of the generator plant which was ajar and hanging off it's hinges. Rogers stepped on the gas and heads for Route 62. Going down the exit road they saw the creature again as they hurtlingly past it. It was standing on a ridge near the road, the creature spread it's wings and took off after the car. The creature was following the car till they got to city limits. They went straight to the Macon County Police, they were really scared. Their report got on the local newspaper on the 16th of November 1966. Since after the incident with the young couples, there has been more reports of seeing the creature and it became known as the Mothman. There has been also other reports of seeing UFOs and being visited by the Men In Black. On December 15, 1967, the Silver Bridge at Ohio River collapsed killing 46 people, since that incident there has been no more reports of seeing the Mothman creature. It believed the Mothman sightings are connected with the UFO sightings and the bridge incident. Mothman believed to be a cryptid or a alien.
