When I compare pictures of me in October 2016 to me in January 2017, I can't tell the difference! My body started to change when: 1️⃣ I started eating more πŸπŸ πŸ•πŸ³πŸŒ― 1800 calories was already a lot for me, so I thought 2300 was huge. It might not be for everyone. But you know your body. My goals was (and is) to gain gain gain. My body doesn't put on fat or muscle easily so I need to push it. Someone asked me when I was going to do a "cut" but I love eating this much and I don't mind not being super lean, so #bulkforlife? πŸ€— 2️⃣ I changed my workout routine πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ I started working out in January 2016 with Sweat with Kayla and then wanted to do more weights so stopped BBG and started doing my own thing, very beginner style weight training. I did *light* pin loaded leg extensions, goblet squats, lunges, fitball hamstring curls and step-ups. But I did the same exercises for maybe 4-6 months! And I hardly went up in weight. I kept doing HIIT and cardio but really had no idea what I was doing. Now I deadlift and hip thrust twice a week, use resistance bands 3-4 times a week, superset most exercises and take timed, shorter rest periods ⏰ 3️⃣ I train more efficiently. If you train lazy, you don't get results. Don't expect to get results when you know you didn't push yourself in the gym. Don't lie to yourself. You know when you've got more in the tank πŸ”‹Don't waste your time, getting up early in the morning, getting dressed, driving and putting up with idiots to only perform a half assed workout! Give it your all! This is your time! Make it count πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ
