I might look good and fit, but that doesn't mean I'm super "healthy". Don't get me wrong. I do have a good diet and I exercise A LOT ❌ But that is the problem, I tend to overtrain myself ALL the time. I LOVE ❤️ the gym 💪🏼. Working out has become part of my life since I started 3 years ago, but I gotta admit I have an obsession with it. I workout to the point of passing out, I have a lot of sleeping problems, I suffer of arrhythmia (heart problems), and I do not stop when I should. 🤒
I've been feeling really weak, my recovery has been awfully slow, and I've noticed a decreased in muscle mass (not major but I still notice it). You see on IG people that workout ALL THE TIME, and do not tell you or explain you that you need to rest. All they say is that you just need to workout and be consistent. My point with this post is that YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO YOUR BODY‼️ Not working out for a couple of days is not going to ruin your progress, IN FACT, it makes your progress even better because you let your body heal. I'm still learning how to listen to my body and actually take a break, but I've gotten SO MUCH better. Overtraining is NEVER a good thing, working out more is not always better, because sometimes all you need is to take a small break from the gym and have a fresh start!
HAPPY SUNDAY AND GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU💕
