Mental health is a huge problems in today’s society with what seems like more people than ever suffering on a daily basis.
Being male suffering with mental health issues, you are not just faced with the problem itself, but the stigma that men are meant to be strong, they can’t or shouldn’t be seen to be struggling. This makes it so much harder to even accept the fact you could have the issues your having, not to mention the amount you kick yourself for even thinking you may have them in the first place.
So this is me, speaking up to the world that it is ok to struggle and it is ok to need help, this tattoo is a semi-colon, in support on mental health I wear this proudly to show others it is ok to feel shit, it’s ok feel the way you do... but it’s not ok to do it alone.
Project semi-colon for those who don’t know explains that when an author could have chosen to end their sentence, but chose not to. The author is you. .
A bit morbid for some but for others it can be all to true, so let’s help them if we can.
Thanks for reading and I apologise for the amount, peace out ✌️ .
