Brew Review: @drinkmoorbeer Moor Brewery 🍺. Friday 5th January 2018.
A railway arch in Bermondsey is the newest location for the Moor Beer company, it’s been open for about 3 weeks it will soon become a people’s favourite. A small area outside is fenced with Moor beer kegs , inside you have a large row of tables, standing area and an inside toliet! Which was honestly spotless. At the end of the room is the bar (pictured above) with a great, and I mean great, selection of beers. All at a very good price. The bar staff were so helpful and well informed, talking about the difference between the cask beers and the kegs. All of the beers are unfined, so no fish guts! Which makes the beers hazy, this in no way effects the beer negatively. You could ask the staff anything and they would know. I must also add the music choice was top as we entered to ‘I wanna be your dog’ by the stooges and continued though a punk playlist Marc Riley would be impressed with.
The beers we both had were:
Raw, Do it together, So’hop, All Dayer, Rey of light and we had a fair few Confidence as we think it’s hard to get a good red ale. But all of these were spot on, seriously go and check it out.
We want to book train tickets to Bristol now to see more!
