Goooood morning! 🤗 It’s been a LONG time since I’ve shared a #transformationtuesday and after looking at some selfies from prep last fall, I was SHOOK. There’s about 9-10 months between these two pictures. On the left, I was just wrapping up my competition season and obviously rocking the #dietbooty 😅 &&& the selfie on the right was from last week 😍🍑
Building the glutes really isn’t as complicated as everyone makes it seem! There is no major secret when it comes to stimulating glute growth, all you need are three things:
1️⃣Caloric Surplus, that’s right you gotta EAT to grow! Obviously I gained weight since prep, but I would say 70% of the weight I gained went to my glutes and lower body.
2️⃣Proper Programming, if you really want to grow your glutes, you gotta be willing to train them more than once a week. On average, I work my glutes 4x / week. With that programming, you also need a variation of different exercises, weight loads, and rep ranges to burn that booty!
3️⃣ Patience, growing muscle does take time, but if you’re willing to consistently work hard and push past your comfort zone, it’ll seem like it happened it no time.
