M O N D A Y M U S I N G S: You Can't Sell Sacred
Many magical folks in this world and other worlds may have noticed the Sephora "Starter Witch Kits" floating around as they were going to launch a kit that included a sage bundle, rose quartz, some tarot cards, and some peculiar looking perfumes (so tiny, how can one only need one spritz to ward off vibes you tell me?) 🔹
While maybe old news to some, for myself I have been wrestling on this musing over and over again, you can't sell the sacred. Its not something to be colonized or taken on, its something that lives within each of our bones. I struggle in frustration in the void space of wanting more people to experience their own conscious awakening, and the very degradation of spirit in the name of profit or external validation in the forms of likes and follows.
I didn't grow up with the smartphone and only had the internet towards the end of junior high, beginning of highschool where at its baseline was still making noises to communicate with humans, its connective powers.
So I say here as my Monday musings, find your sacred within yourself and without needing to constantly search outside to find it. Coming home to ourselves, seems like the task of our lifetime, and we don't need any kits to complete it. . .
