Again it's listening to your body and feeding it what it needs.
Today I woke energetic.
I'll be honest I was able to do 10,000 step power walk to a cool cafe and back where I ate banana bread and did some future work planning, then I swam for 20 minutes in the pool, then I popped into the gym to do a few weights while bouncing on the exercise ball to encourage baby further down. Finished all this off with some yoga poses.
I felt beaming energy inside me so I went with it and I feel great! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜€
BUT LET ME TELL YOU WHAT IM DOING HERE - Bouncing on the birth/exercise ball while doing light weights. Holding the weights up in the air to tone and then moving them back and fourth. A great combination for toning your upper body in the third trimester, encouraging baby into the pelvis and killing time waiting for baby to arrive..

The gym or walking?!
First of all look - yey I trekked to the most easterly point in Australian mainland! ๐ŸŒ
Also I wanted to talk about exercise here.
Some people say to me "your always at the gym" or in a concerned voice "your pregnant and your at the gym alot"?!
Ok so let me cover this in a couple of points.
A) ๐Ÿ‘Š I live in an apartment that has 2 gyms and 2 swimming pools on site as part of the complex and rent we pay, that we share with other residents. It's extremely easy for me to roll out of bed and walk downstairs to use the gym or go there in-between jobs for an hour, 20 minutes or less. If I had to trek to the gym each day I'd prob not and do alot more from home.
B) โœŒ๏ธ I love connecting to my body everyday. Or at least every other day ๐Ÿ˜‰
So the reason humans built gyms was because 1) we have become lazy in our everyday life routines.
2) marketing and money making.
You really don't need to use a gym if you are active all day and especially do things with intent and focus. I.e. walking to work, walking and being active within your job instead of sitting at a desk, climbing stairs instead of using the lift, going home to be active and not sitting in front of the TV all night.
Easier said then done hey?! So if you feel the gym is the only place you can connect with your body after being sedentary for a big part of the day then great. If you can be active and work your body physically all day and connect with it then why the hell bother with the gym?! For me sometimes I work form home so rolling downstairs to use a quiet gym is great to go from 'work mode' to 'connect to my body mode'. Think about it though... Can you make an effort to exercise more as part of your daily life routine?! I.e. walking to work instead of transport? Or standing at your desk instead of sitting? ๐Ÿ‘Š๐ŸŒ  Hashtag ##### #mondaymindspa - with your type of exercise.

Better yet - get outside. The sounds of nature are the ultimate stress relief for most adults. Nature sounds help them sleep better, longer and more peacefully. These sounds are a helpful way to regenerate the body and soul after a hard day of work.
This weekend I took a break and drove 8 hours north of Sydney with beautiful nature and scenic stops along the way.
I took a small old tent that only just fits my body in it, a few snacks and off I went with my dude. No real set plan on where we were going we thought we'd just wing it.
I'm so refreshed, I'm waking up on Monday with great energy, new focus and a nice tan lol.
Get out into the world of nature (the real world) and discover yourself. Find peace. โ˜ฎ๏ธ .

Prenatal yoga!
It can be a workout, but it can also be nice and gental too! ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒธ
Tonight I taught a hour of pregnancy yoga to ladies in all different trimesters.
We used bolsters to relax on and do some gentle spinal work. So far I'm lucky in the fact I have had no back aches in pregnancy, but many women out there do so gentle safe twists using props are a great way to bring some space back to those compressed disk's.

๐ŸŒŸLower stress - Thereโ€™s lots of evidence these days that excess stress causes lots of illnesses and makes other illnesses worse. Mindfulness decreases stress.

What can you do for your mind health today?
Well I say like it say in the picture.. SLEEP LOTS!
In studies of humans and other animals, it has been discovered that sleep plays a critical role in immune function, metabolism, memory, learning, and other vital functions. It may not be surprising that it is more difficult to take in new information following a night of inadequate or disturbed sleep. It is just as important to get a good nightโ€™s sleep after learning something new in order to process and retain the information that has been learned.
Studies also show sleep deprivation to be one of the primary contributors to anxiety problems, depression, and other psychiatric disorders. Sleep appears to be very important for emotional regulation and processing.
so get some ZZZZZZZZZ people!
I get about 7 hours on average! Sometimes 6 sometimes 8! I feel so good in myself when I have had good sleep. The other night my fiance went to Melbourne for one night and I found it hard to sleep without him(what a sop) but I got only 4 hours and felt crappy all day!
If you struggle with sleep try, chamomile before bed with a small drop on honey or currently im drinking a tisane called 'choco loco' from Tea 2 and its coco nibs and gorgeous and relaxing! .
