The internal battle is real: I’m tired, I’m not in the mood to workout, I could take a rest day. But working out will rejuvenate me, I’m feeling a bit antsy, I want to stay committed to this program. How many times have you had this conversation with yourself?
The truth is, I am really tired, and sore. There are good reasons to rest today. But in that same moment I am reminded that my workout doesn’t have to be perfect. I can modify, I can take breaks. Sometimes showing up is the most important part. I showed up today.
