Hitting the gym 5 days in a row is an absolute shock for me😱 That never happens! It felt good to workout and eat healthier all week👏🏽

Walked downstairs to workout and as I was stacking my dumbbells I noticed a new set appeared. The set I have been needing!

I’m a recovering breakfast skipper🤭

Until I fell in love with Shakeology a few years ago, I skipped breakfast for years.
I didn’t think I needed the calories and most days I was too lazy to even attempt to make something.

Shakeology changed that for me.
It was easy and freaking delicious and gave my metabolism the boost it needed to get on track.
It turns out you actually need to consume calories to allow your body to burn them!!!

The one thing I didn’t get on board with until this year was eating before I workout.
I still didn’t trust that process and I didn’t believe my body needed food before a workout.
Sheesh, I was WRONG!
Lifting heavy and focusing on intense workouts without the proper fuel left me miserable and weak post workout.
So I started drinking my shakes before my workout and adding these genius little oatmeal muffins to my routine.
They’re easy, delicious and I can make a ton of them in advance and pop them in the freezer.

After 2 long weeks which feels more like 4, I finally made it to the gym yesterday. Which felt greattttt.

Looking back on my workout snippets from earlier and still can’t believe how far I’ve come. I’ve NEVER had noticeable arm, shoulder or back muscles even when I lifted weights in the gym hours upon hours a week.
Guys, I’ve done all of this from home, 30-60 minutes a day, with my little man by my side. It’s totally possible. It’s totally possible to reach those unreachable goals. To hit those crazy milestones. You’re allowed to be in shape, be healthy, have muscles, feel good about yourself AND be a mom. Kids didn’t ruin our bodies, they’ve made them that much stronger 💪🏼 Message me for more info on my monthly bootcamps!

Some of Monday’s workout. Trying to get back into the gym/lifting is stilllll a struggle since going out of town for 10 days. Working on getting back in it. I actually learn a little from these videos because I don’t ever see myself from another view so it’s good to be able to evaluate some things and correct for better form for the next time. I can tell my form was off in some of these movements because I was trying to rush through them because I truly wasn’t feeling like being there 🤷🏼‍♀️

1️⃣ frog 🐸 lifts- feet together, 3x12
2️⃣plank kickbacks - 3x12
3️⃣ glute extensions on quad machine -3x12
4️⃣hip abduction.. going the wrong way 😜 3x12
5️⃣cable fire hydrants - 3x12

Another side note, don’t let fear of what other people think or fear of how you may look in the gym be an excuse *if that’s what’s holding you back*. Just look at me 😂.. I do weird shit because I don’t care what anyone thinks. If it’s going to help you reach your goals just get it done. Just go and show up, and getting better is something that will naturally happen.

One of the first workouts I ever did was with a kettle bell. I was suppose to be using a weighted plate but it’s all I had at the time. I incorporated a few kettlebell swings into my booty workout today. Leggggssss coming in thicka than a snika 😂 Working those babies 2x a week and today’s leg press went up from 270 to 360 .... yes, I added 2/45 plates! Was it easy, absolutely not, but it was doable. Mastering 270 was a goal I crushed and now on to the next one.
