This is more inside my head than I'm normally okay with sharing with anyone, yet alone complete strangers, but I decided to make the jump because so far y'all have been so nice! I'm not a thin person. Even when I was at my thinnest, I still had a build that made me always look big. I attempted to go shopping for some feminine clothes last week because before we moved I got rid of basically everything because it either didn't fit or I couldn't conceal carry in it. This left me with basically basketball shorts and a t-shirt which I don't hate, but I wanted to finally escape wearing all men's clothes. I've never enjoyed shopping. I usually hate the trending styles and finding things that don't hug my every imperfection has always been aggravating. Combined with the fact that now I want clothes to hide the fact that I'm packing heat...I gave up quickly. I decided to start my hunt online. Well, I found some shirts, all very similar in style, in different brands and colors and decided to try a handful. The first two came in today and while one's sizing ran about two sizes small and I'll be returning it, this other shirt I found works! I was able to wear an undershirt and completely hide the fact that I was carrying. I normally would never post pictures like this on my personal feed, so the fact that I'm posting them here is a big deal to me. But I guess I wanted to do it to show that every body type can find ways to conceal carry on their person and still be feminine and keep your personal style (or in my case, lack thereof). I have preached it, I have heard it, but lately I started losing hope that it was possible. I genuinely started thinking I'd be stuck with jeans or basketball shorts and men's t-shirts the rest of my life because I'm not skinny (not bashing any body type). But I found one that works, so I know there are plenty more out there! Sometimes it takes a little work to find what works for you, but I promise the payoff of researching and finding what you like will be so worth it in the end!! Don't make excuses. Be prepared in what's comfortable for you! I promise it's possible.
