Are you stressed, anxious, depressed ? .
Every day we are faced with situations that spark emotions, both good and bad. Sometimes the bad can start to get overwhelming as we struggle with work pressure, home issues, relationships, expectations, peer pressure… the external stimulus can get overwhelming.
Especially when we have no tools to deal with them. The feeling of helplessness, insufficiency, disappointment keeps growing. .
Soon you realise there is no escape because the emotional turmoil is internal. It goes everywhere with you.
Slowly even daily tasks seems overwhelming, decisions seem to elude you. Sometimes you are overcome with a desire to escape. .
Luckily this weekend at the Hearfulness ashram at Kanha, I found a simple yet effective tool to Nourish my mind. A meditation practise that is so simple that all it requires is for us to sit still for sometime. @practiceheartfulness is a non religious method that helps sustain inner balance and peace of mind. It is an empowering technique that has 4 aspects : relaxation, meditation, cleaning and connection. Each one serving a specific purpose to provide a holistic approach to nourish the mind and soul. All you need to do is reach out to them and start an initiation process where someone will assist and guide you through the first 3 sittings of meditation. .
I loved how this way was all encompassing and inclusive. Not once imposing restrictions or being preachy but purely focussing an personal spiritual development.
Our tour of @greenkanha was an eye opener of what one can attain when they put their minds to solve the so called impossible. (more in my stories)
For me, meeting @kamleshdaaji was an experience difficult to articulate. When a leader so humble inspires and empowers just with their presence, you feel a sense of belonging. .
I’ve spent some time now reading the book @theheartfulnessway written by Daaji and @author.joshuapolluck and its a simple yet detailed insight into what is possible with Heartfulness. A must read for everyone running the rat race. Its a breath of fresh air in our over polluted lives. .
Do you think you need a breather, a support to help you up ?
