HOODIE SEASON‼️ ⛄️🌨❄️ It’s officially sweatshirt season. Hoodie season, if you will. ❄️
Winter after winter I’ve subconsciously used this as an out to let myself off the hook. It’s so much easier to gain weight and drop your awareness when you can cover it up with a sweater or sweatpants. ❄️ I remember how much I took false refuge in this time of year when I was at my heaviest and ashamed of where I was at. And yet no matter how much I told myself this year I’d be “good” through the holidays, I ended up with regret January 30, vowing that I’d change in the new year. ❄️
But therein was the problem with my mindset: the two extremes: 🛑 Restriction
Yet this is the best time of year to learn balance. If you own the days leading up to and after the holidays, then enjoy what you want on those days.
How? ✅Have a PLAN to follow ✅Accountability with a coach or someone who is honest with you (not someone who will tell you to not worry about it so they feel better about themselves)
✅Healthy mindset and grace for yourself 🐧🐧🐧 If you begin to work on your food choices now, choosing when to eat what’s worth it, you’ll crush New Year’s resolutions because you’ve already proven yourself to YOU!
