Looking more official everyday!
I started this business adventure as a way to fill a void in the system, do a little self healing, and provide support to families of the missing.
Support how you ask?
My vision is to provide a support community where families can share their stories, pictures, posters, and journals, talk to people who have been on the same journey, and brainstorm. I hope to build a community of healing and resources for families of the missing or murdered.
By collaborating with other entities and gifted individuals we can come together to help make a difference. Sometimes that is in the form of poster creation, social media campaigning, community outreach, community collaboration, printing, and brainstorming. Options are open! There is no staying inside the lines when it comes to finding our loved ones.
Outreach is not limited to women because We are losing our men, brothers, sons and LGBTQ family members everyday too.
One thing I've found through on my personal journey is that I was overwhelmed, physically and emotionally. Trying to do a thousand things at once and having to go to work like life just went on was devastating. Searching and raising awareness was financially draining as the cost to print, fuel search vehicles, take time to advertise or find funding for a reward for information all built up making me feel hopeless. I couldn't exist financially and do everything else. That was the motivation for MMNA. To try to relieve even a little bit of stress and make sure families on this search know they are not alone.
My goal, once up and running is to sponsor at least one family quarterly. This would be a family who's case might be close to being solved, but just needs the extra motivation that a reward and advertising might provide.
The funds for the reward will be raised through the sales of greeting cards, necklaces, bandanas, t-shirts, buttons, and sponsorships.
If you are interested in commissioning a piece of art for this project I would tremendously grateful and honored.
Thank you for your consideration.
