Part 3: Aleesha's #LovingDay Story @northernnefertitis
My light brown skin comes from trailblazers, blood, sweat, and tears, the overcoming of gender constrictions, overzealous religious dominion, escape from the Jim Crow south, ambition beyond the status quo and the pursuit of a brighter tomorrow in lands unknown. My multiracial beauty is not here to threaten or intimidate you, it is here if anything to gleam a shining foreshadowing glow of what the future of humanity holds.
After a lifetime of being an adoptive grandchild and without definite knowledge of my mixed-race Québécois father’s roots, I dug deep into my spiritual inheritances of curiosity and pioneering to find a few hints beginning six years ago with the Scottish, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Welsh, Irish, and British roots through my known-maternal family-tree, to eventually fours years later/two years ago charting the path even deeper through @ancestrydna results that traced my Jamaican Heritage back to the West African continent in Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, and the Ivory Coast. Alongside those revelations came unexpected revelations of my biological paternal roots, tracing my bloodlines back to Europe in Scandinavia, Britain, the Iberian peninsula, Ireland, Greece, Italy, and Eastern EU countries, followed by results that traced my roots through Armenia, Syria & Lebanon, American Samoa, the Phillipines, the Dahomey Warrior Woman Tribe of Benin & Togo, and across the Indigenous Native Southwestern Americas. #NorthernNefertiti #MapleSorrel
