It’s either fear, or it’s love. 💖 There’s not much in between. This is a realization that completely changed my life. It’s true of anything, but I’ve been thinking about it in regards to food lately. 💫
The way we prepare meals for ourselves & our families, the purchases we make, the way to choose to nourish ourselves on a daily basis, the relationship we have with our cravings, needs, desires, & goals. All of it; it’s either love or it’s fear. 💫
Fear of what? Fear of things running out, or of never having enough (eg. $$, food, time, love itself), fear of how certain foods will affect our bodies, our appearance, our health, or how others see us (ie. fear of not BEING enough), for example.
So how do we know if it’s love, then? If it’s love, it will always feel good. It will feel joyful, and in alignment with our greatest self. 💫
Love is not restrictive, it’s not excessively critical, it’s not loneliness or alienation, it’s not emptiness, it’s not shame, it’s not feeling “stuck” - on the contrary, love is EXPANSIVE. Love is liberation. 💫💚🤗 Here is my delicious lunch from a couple days back, a great example of a meal that made me feel whole, nourished, joyful, liberated. Every choice absolutely made with love. And for you, that might look completely different! 💫
#Onmyplate: leftover baked cod with onions & Italian herbs, #carrots & #peas topped with a generous amount of #nutritionalyeast, and a mixed green, #cucumber, & #grapetomato salad with a light #applecidervinegar & #avocadooil vinaigrette. 🥗 I also squeezed tons of #lemon over everything (especially the fish & cooked veggies) as it’s such an ALIVE-feeling additive! 💛🍋 #ChooseLove
