Know Your Mandate!
Moses’ story has lessons to help us fulfil our mandate with boldness. Moses’ journey is full of twists and turns, most like many us today, but the beauty is he discovers purpose and fulfils his mandate.
From being hidden in the house at birth,
placed in the river,
growing up in a palace as a prince,
hired as a shepherd
leading his people out of Egypt.
Our lives are not that different, but the difference is, somewhere we miss the point because we have no knowledge of our specific mandate. Some of us are perfectly positioned in places of power for important tasks, but get overpowered & lose why we're there. God has placed others in humble places to carry out missions, but they give in to pressures and start whining about circumstances, praying day and night to be delivered, instead of praying for specific victories you've been sent there for.
God needed Moses’ attention and knew it would be difficult for Moses to hear Him with all the glitz of Egypt, He had to remove Moses from distractions. Sometimes God does that to get our attention and because many wouldn't be easily attentive, God has to allow a scandal that will force you to run away from Egypt. Moses would have had difficulty leaving Egypt when God called because he was indebted to the Pharaoh, I mean they raised him. Some controversies are a blessing in disguise, because they force us out of the #tholukuthiHey platforms, and when we take time off this publicized social lifestyle, we meet God and can get direction to where we're going.
Challenge: instead of praying for things, let's pray for a fresh revelation of our mandate, an increased dose of wisdom, a potent anointing of discernment and boldness to carry out our mission, in Jesus’ Name🙌🙌🙌 #Truth_&_BoldnessThursday #tbt #Mandated #Missioned #Purposed #Destined
