This is the last photo of this little series where I posted a piece of the photo each day, along with a little snippet of the story of how I captured this photo, and what it means to me! Check out my feed to see the WHOLE PHOTO! Thanks for joining! ✨ “And, to finish out this photo story, I’ll say that it may have been just a simple little reflection of how nature captured my heart when I least expected it—as it usually does. But it required me to set aside time to really get alone and write and make sure I am being inspired by my own photos. And I encourage all of us, myself included, to continue being willing to make the u-turns in life, to stop and pause for the beauty that inspires us, as I did to get this picture. For me personally, my health journey has put my life on pause many times—right now being one of those seasons. I am doing my very best to lean into the healing, to get rid of the things in my life that cause stress, and press into the ones that bring me joy-like photographing things in nature! It is NOT easy, but I am grateful to have so many people to inspire me. One step at a time.”

Whether you like the season fall, or not so much, I believe this photo truly captures the season. Autumn represents change— and change is hard. But the beauty, the vibrancy, and the colors that come from it make it so worth it.”

I was waiting for the perfect time for them to create a mirror image on the water. One afternoon, I was driving by and this scene almost brought me to tears because of the beauty and the colors—exactly what I had been waiting for!”

Stay tuned for the rest! ✨”There are so many different ways that light can reflect an image onto water. How it will look can depend on the time of day and how much movement there is on the water. My favorite is when the water is extremely still and the landscape reflects perfectly. It creates a mirror image that is precise and glorious, and gives me chills...”
