"i love people; watching people interact. it's a lot of psychology. we learn about ourselves by watching other people's lives on the screen."
this photo was taken the day of my birthday after a very successful project that had been finished (by far one of the coolest ways to spend your birthday - to have fun and not care that you're now a year older; and because no one knew it was my birthday, i wasn't treated any differently than they would have if they had known). i've had this picture saved for what feels like forever, and i didn't know when to post it. i still don't even know if now is the right time, but since i'm feeling very nostalgic, here's the photo that's making me feel a tiny bit better today because i had been with people who actually appreciated the person i have grown to be, not the person they wished i was.
i feel like that's an actual issue - when people make you feel bad for who you are. just because they don't like something about you, they feel the need to point it out and maybe make you insecure over something that hasn't seemed like such a big deal before. idk, this is just something that's been bothering me since school ended today . . .
