If summer was my husband (...and if I was the polyamorous type...), spring would definitely be my lover 🌿
.
Breathing in the sunshine, smell of freshly cut grass and the waft of a barbecue is something else, isn't it? .
I would love to know what your favourite season is and why?

I have always dreamed about living right by the ocean.
However having the possibly to live right where London ends and the magical forest begins, well that’s amazing too.
We got lakes, a small community, cozy cafes and friendly neighbours (which I’m told is not always a given here in London)
I love that having fewer things in our lives can help us to do more of what we dream about, so even though we live here we get to stay by the ocean quite often.
-
The space we add in our schedules, in our homes and in our minds becomes something so valuable. Minimalism can be a challenge at times, however doing what you dream about is worth the effort.
-
So I’m cheering you on to continue and I’m applauding you for the effort you have already made to simplify.
If you are only starting to simplify and don’t quite know what your dream is, then asking a simple question like “what would I like more of in my life?” a good place to start.

#WhoMadeMyClothes 💫Why do we source our fabrics from Portugal? As I mentioned yesterday, my guiding light is that I have to feel proud to speak honestly about our practises. This is a mindset that our fabric suppliers share with us, and there are three things that I value the most about partnering with them: 1) Quality 2) Transparency 3) Relationships. We spent 8 months searching for the best quality fabrics we could find before scissors met cloth. Quality of fabric and construction cannot be overlooked when discussing ethical fashion. By making our garments out of the best quality fabrics we can find, their longevity in your wardrobe is increased, making the original resources, time and human effort that went into making them more worthwhile for all. Our fabric suppliers are very open in sharing exactly what has gone into their processes. We know the country that each raw fibre has been sourced from, and the processes they have gone through to become the beautiful fabrics that we receive. Lastly, something that's not exactly tangible, yet I feel is something so important - we love working with our fabric supply team! It is a joy to work with such a welcoming, generous, respectful and interesting team of people. The passion they have for what they do is evident in everything they touch and their outlook is infectious 🖤Tomorrow I will be touching on our STUDIO collection and discussing the art of craftsmanship in the apparel industry. Hope you've been enjoying our Fashion Revolution series, see you tomorrow! - Jessica⠀
