Farmer Mary buys large amounts of animal feed regularly at tractor Supply in Knightdale where all the employees are helpful and pleasant. Last night she filled her Mini Cooper with the bags of feed shown here.
Farm visitors often erroneously assume that the food treats like carrots and apples that they bring along on farm visits are all the food that the animals eat at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. Farmer Mary spends about $600 a month on animal feed for the donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, pigs, peacocks, emu, ducks, bunnies and guinea pigs now living at Winterpast Farm.
Winterpast Farm has an Amazon Wish List if you want to help Farmer Mary feed all the animals. Thank you for supporting a small local farm family.
