💋Frequently Asked Questions about Savvy Minerals💋 💄Q: Is our makeup Organic?
A: Because minerals are inorganic, organic labeling on minerals is misleading. 💄Q: Can we order the brushes yet?
A: No they will be available at a later date. They are not in the Virtual Office to even look at yet. Also it will be a brush set of 5, not the photo shown in this graphic. (It's just for fun) 💄Q: What is the shelf life of these products?
A: As a rule of thumb, once opened and you begin to use it, different factors contribute to the shelf life and deterioration of the pigment: humidity, light, brush cleanliness etc.
Just general rule of thumb: use it within 12 months.
Mascara once opened and used: 3 months (comes out end of summer sometime)
Lips once opened and used: 6 months 💄Q: Are our products lead free?
A: Lead makes it way into cosmetics via synthetic dyes and lake dyes. Savvy Minerals has neither in their lip products, mica's are used to color the lips (side note: which is why it's REALLY hard to get a TRUE RED lipstick without dye.) 💄Q: Where is this product made?
A: Savvy Minerals is made in the USA. 💄Q: When would we use water or the spray to create foiling?
A: Foiling, helps the pigment to bind together so it gives you a REALLY deep dimension of the colors, and it really stays on well. Spray the eye shadow brush with the misting spray, then pick up the eye shadow and "paint" the eye shadow on for deep color dimension and lasting power. You can do the same with the eye liners to get a liquid eye liner look. 💄Q: Why can we not get red lip?
A: Red is only possible with synthetic dyes. It's just really hard to create TRUE RED without synthetic dye or beetle guts (which then we wouldn't be keeping promises of clean and truly pure) 💄Q: My foundation is almost out (perfect timing, am I right?!) but I'm rather nervous about matching my skin tone to order my soon-to-be new Savvy Minerals foundation! Any tips? Is there a reliable graphic to help?
A: On the dedicated Savvy Minerals website (coming soon) there is a section YL is working hard on to make this proce
