I used to struggle to build my chest. It was my worst body part.

It wasn't until I started doing pushups every day, training my chest 3-4 times per week in the gym, and focusing mainly on bench pressing with dumbbells that I added size to my chest. So I highly recommend you doing this if you want to build your pecs.

Some other things that really will help you is to focus on feeling the contraction in your chest. You want those pecs to be firing and contracting as hard as possible. It should feel like they're about to cramp up. At the ends of your chest workouts, try using a pec fly machine with a 3112 tempo and focus on the mind to muscle connection.

If you're just benching on Mondays and trying to lift as much weight as possible, you're doing it wrong. Research shows that bench presses will build your chest up to a point, and then it's just a triceps builder. That's why I prefer dumbbells. I'm not saying to stop benching with a barbell, I'm just saying that it's better to use DB's if you want to build your chest size.

•Concentrate with lower weight first. This was a warm up set to rack pulls at 275. Yes, I need to set the pins lower next time.
•Watch yourself. Not kidding, but seeing muscles work helps you understand where motions work or don't work.
•Practice and be consistent. Don't change your workout types as frequently. Instead, work on your muscle memory, building on core moves, then changing programming every 4-6 weeks if needed. That's helped me grow my back. Heavy deadlifts, rack pulls, barbell rows and pull ups!

Back and triceps today. I’ve been trying to work opposing muscle groups, agonist and antagonist, to get the best out of each workout. 💪🏻At the end of my triceps today I went into drop sets with my pull downs and super setting with kick backs. Strength And Size! Power And Pump!
Arm day. Always at least one heavy set of something for triceps and biceps to keep building that strength and density. Then drops and supersets and reps for pump and size. Heavy exercises today were close grip bench and these 70lb dumbbell curls in the video. Had a good mind-muscle connection today too.

Rear Delts - a small muscle group but one which, when fully developed, can bring a physique to the next level in terms of width from the front and also thickness in side poses.

The issue most people have (other than not training the rear delts frequently enough) is the an inability to load the muscles effectively.

It's not so much an issue of engaging the rear delts , rather an issue with disengaging the rhomboids and upper back muscles when performing rear delt exercises.

This is usually because of using too much weight and/or not utilising a higher rep range which I believe is the key to "switching on" the rear delts and achieving a proper mind muscle connection.

Shoot for 15-30 reps and utilise partials at the end of each set - I guarantee you'll feel your rear delta working.

Also, don't let the elbows drop below the shoulders - this ensures less upper back activation 👌
