If it's especially crazy times, I'll tell myself I will only do for two minutes, or maybe even just 3 mindful breaths.... but then I usually slow enough in that time to realize I'm getting in my own way more than anything.... and that time in meditation is just what I need.
Repeat. It's about the daily practice. The research shows that daily practice is what truly transforms the structure of our brain.
This is why I yoga. The daily asana practice on my mat, the breathing, the sequencing, the alignment of the poses, the counter poses, the focused gaze... all of it. It's all for this. To come to meditation with ability to sit in settled calm, to connect with what is greater than me. Even if it's just for three breaths through a crazy day✨
