Everytime I teach yoga I become aprentice as well.

Yoga is already within us and the physical practice is a way to reveal our inner Self, to awake our soul, to move the prana and balance the subtle body.

🔑KEYS TO UNMASKING EMOTION

Harboring unaddressed emotions inside us, is one way to eat away at ourselves! While it is normal to feel a wide array of emotions, how we deal with them is what can make them a positive or negative experience for us. For example, in times of sadness, it is often beneficial to pay attention & listen to our sadness as opposed to choosing not to feel it & burying it away. By welcoming this emotion, we can inherently learn that such emotions are actually a necessary reaction to our experiences, and are in fact, not negative in nature! By remaining open to each portion of our growth (through embracing both our darkness & our light equally) & training ourselves to manage these necessary reactions to our environment, we exercise & strengthen our "emotional intelligence.” As a result, we can build the courage to face any emotion that may have previously been eating away at us! As humans, we experience emotions through physiologic responses in the body (e.g., increases or decreases in heart rate; cutaneous blood flow (blushing or turning pale); piloerection (goosebumps); sweating; & gastrointestinal motility (butterflies)). Numerous studies have established that emotion systems prepare us to meet challenges encountered in the environment by adjusting the activation of the cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, neuroendocrine, immune & autonomic nervous system (ANS). This link between emotions & bodily states serves as one example of why taking time to exercise our ‘emotional intelligence’ can have a positive impact on our mental, physical & spiritual health! Throwing it back to last year winning the @dubaimuscleshow Getting to the stage was about so much more for me in this prep than just doing a bodybuilding show. I met some amazing friends on this road - and I remember how much I enjoyed the process. Although, bodybuilding looks like it's my life it is only a part of my life and as I learn more about life and what sets my soul on fire this will be more of a hobby or something fun for me than a life. I want so many other deeper more soul fulfilling things in my life than just staring in the mirror looking for an answer. In saying that it is a great way to set a goal and a focus point with positive outcomes as long as you keep your head in check and don't let it all carry you away. As I always say keep your life complete by putting all the pieces of the puzzle together - yes....#balance. So, liebe Leute. Es ist soweit. Ich beende heute offiziell meine 30iger und beginne mit der 40.
Jaja ich weiß.... Man ist nur so alt wie man sich fühlt. 30 ist das neue 40. etc etc Aber trotzdem ist es dieses mal irgendwie anders. Eher doof. Keine Ahnung warum.
Midlifecrisis? Ja, vielleicht. Die grauen Haare nehmen zu, das Bindegewebe wird schlapper und wenn ich feiern war, sehe ich am nächsten Tag aus wie Horst Tappert. Die Älteren unter Euch, wissen vielleicht noch wer das war😁. Ich wohne teilweise immer noch mit meinem Möbeln, die ich mir im Studium gekauft habe und ich besitze kein Geschirr mit 6 identischen Tellern, Tassen oder Gläsern. Muss ich jetzt erwachsen werden? Keine Ahnung. Jetzt feiere ich erst mal mit meinen besten und längsten Freundinnen. Die bleiben nämlich. Egal ob man 30, 40 oder 107 Jahre alt wird. In dem Sinne: cheers to a next trip around the sun 🌞
