Here is a little #mindfulness practice you can do anywhere:
Start by breathing in and out slowly. One breath cycle should last for approximately 6 seconds.
Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth, letting your breath flow effortlessly in and out of your body.
Let go of your thoughts. Let go of things you have to do later today or pending projects that need your attention. Simply let thoughts rise and fall of their own accord and be at one with your breath.
Purposefully watch your breath, focusing your sense of awareness on its pathway as it enters your body and fills you with life.
Then watch with your awareness as it works work its way up and out of your mouth and its energy dissipates into the world - #TrainWithAim

I downloaded an app called Moment and I recommend you do the same. It tracks your screen time on your phone and a huge realization of spending 4 hours a day on my I phone, is unacceptable. This doesn't include my time on my lap top...you'll be shocked how much time you are on your phone...

A few weeks back this was the headline in the piece I did for the Mail on Sunday in the UK talking about burnout. And
yes there are many trophies I'm proud to have won in my life in my previous career as a professional dancer but not necessarily the one for burnout. However it is the reason why I am so passionate about sharing all that I have learnt, from having a burnout in my mid 30's, with my clients in my coaching practice and in my meditation classes. Power napping, meditation and listening to what my body is telling me it needs i.e. rest when you need it, does not mean you are weak it means you are human and it's ok. I promise you, you will thank yourself for listening to the warning signs and allowing yourself the time to nurture you and that prevention is easier than hitting the full on fatigue that awaits us when we don't.
And power napping btw isn't just something "old" people do as people liked to tell me in the past, it's a super helpful tool to help you stay productive and focused during the day which both Winston Churchill, Magaret Thatcher and many other successful business people did through time. Wherever you are, be all there. Allí donde estés, estate presente con todo tu ser. 🌿A veces es necesario renunciar a intentar llegar a todo y hacerlo todo deprisa y corriendo, llegando tarde, viviendo el día como si fuera un tetris de piezas que encajar contrarreloj, y sencillamente poner menos cosas en la agenda. No hay que hacerlo todo hoy. Mejor estar atento a lo que estamos, disfrutar de la gente que nos rodea, dedicar nuestra atención completa a lo que estamos haciendo en cada momento, sea algo excepcional o cotidiano.
