I haven’t posted one of these in a while for a couple reasons!
1. We were cash flowing our wedding over the summer- meaning all of our extra money outside of our daily budget was going towards funding our wedding. One disclaimer: we did not start this process soon enough... realistically we should have started this around the first of the year so as a result we now have credit card debt again. 😩
2. I took a social media hiatus and focused on a few other important things.
3. We paid for a couple mini trips to fuel our adventure spirits.
4. We put money towards a couple business ventures to start planning for our financial FUTURE instead of just focusing on our debt we have today.
We know this isn’t true to the @daveramsey debt snowball program but we know we made the right decisions for our #twonutsoneshell team.
We are hitting the debt snowball hard this September and back at again! We have plans to move next year so we want our credit card debt we re-accumulated gone by that time!
Cheers to BIG financial goals these next few months! Do you have financial goals?! Share them with me in the comments so I can cheer for you along the way! 😘

I’ve always been good at budgeting. I always have a savings and have never lived beyond my means, well at least I thought. This girl Always pays her bills but lately has realised that her bills are what’s holding her back. 😟 If you’ve known me, you know travel has always been my Passion! What I lived for!! 🛫I always paid for my travels but the one thing I put on credit was my plane tickets. 💺 Now I have a problem... Dun dun duuuuuun, Credit cars debt!Debt that slowly over time creeped up on me. Now this is embarrassing as someone in her early thirties, but I am determined to rise above this! So, remember that $336 a month I have now from paying off my car? You guessed it, that is going to be paying off my credit cards! I am paying the minimum on the one with the lower interest rate and the rest of this chunk of change goes to the balance of the higher interest rate card and so on until the three I have are all at zero. Then I will be closing out two and only using the other for emergencies. How do you stay on top of your $$$$ game? Any tips or tricks I should know about?

Scored these books from the Goodwill for $6! I love reading books and I love getting them at a great price! Anybody love reading?
Did you know CEO's read an average of 6 books a MONTH📚📚 How many are you reading? Comment below⬇️ I'm on book number 3!

I love this quote by Seneca: 'Real wealth is poverty adjusted to (in harmony with) the law of nature.' To me it means that wealth has nothing to do with money. Real wealth is living a life that is true to yourself and the world around you. No matter how much money you have, you don't have real wealth unless you're doing what you're meant to do.

Anyone can be rich. It's a matter of perception.

Back of my business card. Not sure why it’s blurry but still readable 😄

REPOST: Why am I chucking Fitzherbert back up on my gram again, you ask? That’s because I made the last payment on him 2 weeks ago!! When I decided to stay in NZ, I was broke as a joke. I barely was making it by. But I needed a car. This country is very much a car centric place. So I did what I normally never do, and got this car out on tick, as they say here. I chose to pay it off in a year and have accomplished it!! #PartyTimeExcellent First step done on my way to financial freedom! What will I do with the extra $84 a week/ $336 a month that I now have lining my pockets? Stay tuned to find out!

If it costs you your peace, it’s too expensive.

We teach about how to drive in school, but not how to manage finances.

This one has me thinking 🤔

I feel late to the game. I’m in my early 30’s and my finances are not what I want them to be. I have decided that it is time for me to make this a priority in my life. I grew up with an Amazing family. I was taught how to save and balance my money but my financial education ended there. In my 20’s I put travel before anything and mostly everything in my life, which I will Never regret. But now, my concerns are changing. I want financial freedom so its time to study and make moves to get where I want to go. As I sit in my office, I sip my plum wine and start my monetary education. 💰👩🏼‍🎓📚 Got any tips for this novice? What are the ways you learned to handle your cash?
