For 25 year old @ox.vs from Miami Florida, pregnancy was a breeze. She was one of those beautiful goddesses who carried her baby like the breeze. She was the girl whose skin glowed, whose hair and nails grew long and so naturally, skipped the nausea.
But when #adversity came she had to find an inner strength she never knew she had as her #life hung in the balance.
Whilst talking to her she explained "my journey through #motherhood has shown me that I not only have strength, but also so much love to offer this tiny little human that my amazing body made." With the right ingredients, of course.
She delivered her beautiful #baby boy three days before Christmas, the perfect gift.
The joy was short lived however as only four days into motherhood @ox.vs was #hospitalized after developing #postpartum #preeclampsia.
Devastated she talks about how she was at high risk of developing #seizures and going into a coma. "It was the last thing I had ever expected, I was #heartbroken! But I remember telling myself I'm going to get through this no matter what because my son needs me!" Despite being able to make a quicker recovery had she chosen different #medication, she was determined to #breastfeed. Proudly she declares " I put my sons needs before my own, I wanted to give him only what my body made for him and I did just that. I thank God everyday I recovered well and quickly and that my son is healthy, strong and such a happy baby." @ox.vs finishes with this precious message "motherhood is a blessing and it's a journey that teaches you things you never knew about yourself.. It's also a very tough yet rewarding job but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. There's no manual on how to do things, you just trust your #maternal instincts and do all things with love and a lot of patience." You are an #inspiration @ox.vs, thank you for sharing your #amazing #story of #survival x
